Bedroom Drawing in Perspective
I sketched a realistic portrayal of a corner in my bedroom using an in-perspective drawing technique. Employing Staedtler's Mars Lumograph pencils, I incorporated diverse shadows to enhance the lifelike quality of the artwork.
Acrylic Painting
I created a painting of a forest at sunset, drawing inspiration from Vincent van Gogh's "The Starry Night." I reimagined and recreated the scene using "Vivid Colors" acrylic paint. The bold and vibrant color mixture is a prominent feature, with the sky transitioning from vivid hues to a deeper tone as the sun sets, casting a red glow. Employing various techniques, brushes, and tools, I crafted this artwork to capture the essence of van Gogh's style while infusing my own interpretation into the scene.
IEU Summer Program 2022
A collection of photographs I took on my IE summer program in Spain. I enrolled in this program before my senior year to get real life experience of the academic and personal challenges of university. I used to live in Spain for my primary years, so going for this summer program gave me a chance to revisit my childhood. It was an amazing and thrilling experience, getting a taste of what university might look like. I also made so many international friends. I do believe it set me up and gave me a new perspective of my future.
Andy Warhol x Fahad
Andy Warhol's influence on my artistic sensibilities has been profound, stemming from his era, essence, and his unique ability to bridge the worlds of graphics and art. I've always found his work captivating, particularly the way he skillfully employed a contrast of colors to create eye-catching and luxurious pieces. His contributions became an integral part of pop culture, introducing pop art and playing a pivotal role in the evolution of modern art.
Inspired by Warhol's iconic Marilyn Diptych (1962), I decided to create portraits of myself replicating the distinctive silkscreen painting technique. Using Adobe Photoshop as my medium, I meticulously recreated the layering of colors, mirroring the essence of Warhol's process. The juxtaposition of vibrant hues and the deliberate contrast against the original photograph of myself aimed to achieve the characteristic silkscreen effect. In this artistic endeavor, I sought not only to pay homage to Warhol's groundbreaking work but also to infuse a touch of his avant-garde spirit into my own self-expression. Through this creative exploration, I aimed to capture the essence of pop art and contribute to the ongoing dialogue between tradition and innovation in the realm of visual arts.

Analysis Creative Writing Beverly Hills, 90210
These photograph samples were from the Beverly Hills, 90210, 1992 beach cast photoshoot taken by the producers of the show. I frankly found these photos so fun and youthful. All throughout high school I was obsessed with the 1990 American teen drama television series. Although this show came out two decades before I was in high school, it really gave me insight on today's society. I always admired the aesthetic lives of a group of teenagers living in star-studded glamours Beverly Hills, longing that some day I would graduate high school and lead the life I would dream of.
Young adults having fun at the beach where they have their whole futures ahead of them; their prime times. Escaping the responsibilities and family obligations, these pictures were used in their iconic song relating to the theme "having fun." Ironically enough, as the show revolves around a friend group of sons and daughters of wealthy celebs living in a such glamours place, they opt to just chill and enjoy the beach of California. Hence why I really like these photos as they resemble many things.
